i've tried 1,2,3,4,5 & 6 commas.. same result.. i can force it to connect
in v.32b mode at 14400 or i can dial an ascend box w/ no commas or my PM2's
and i connect either time.. however i think the modem was screwed up, after
about 5 attempts at dialing anything (whether i connect or not) the next
time i try to dial, the modem picks up the line, and makes really weird
tones.. kinda like what a fax machine makes.. but it never actually dials..
so i got boca to RMA the modem..
