Ok, looks like the problem is fixed. It appears to have been a user with
bad filtering rules boucing the mail back at the list.

But I wanted to address something else...

Common sense folks - when a list is screwed up like that DON'T COMPLAIN TO
THE LIST!

All it does is add posts to the loop storm - and it is less likely to get
the proper attention it needs quickly.

Nearly all mailing lists will have an 'owner' address, like
owner-portmaster-users@livingston.com. When things go wrong - email there.
That goes directly to the person in charge of the list. Here that is
normally me, and when I go on vacation or the like we change the alias
to someone else (usually Carl).

And if it happens when we're open (today was unusual, being a holiday day)
call in and someone can get right on it.

But please, don't send "Please fix this list" kind of emails to the list,
that is just more fodder for the problem.
