My problem with the autoresponder is:
>Please include the email tracking number "" in the subject
>line of any followup messages for this problem that you send to
>support@livingston.com.
The tracking number was in fact in the subject line.
>Do NOT reply to support-owner@livingston.com, reply to
>support@livingston.com instead. This message comes from
>support-owner to avoid mail auto-responder loops.
Why don't you simply make the ReplyTo: address of your message
support@livingston.com, then people won't reply to the wrong address.
A simple procmail recipe is all that it takes.

Subject: (PM) Choicenet again (fwd)
Once upon a time Jerry Workman shaped the electrons to say...
>ChoiceNet works but not as advertised (or documented).
>
>The command "show filter filtername" does not trigger a ChoiceNet request.
>After some testing I found that the filters specified in my radius users
>file do in fact get loaded from the ChoiceNet server.
I know this was responded to. Show doesn't cause a filter to download -
and shouldn't IMHO. Wasteful. If documentation says it does I'll see
about changing the docs.
>Livingston Tech support was little help on this, and their lame-brain email
>autoresponder is extremely unprofessional and irritating.
You're in a minority here. We *added* that because of one reason -
demand from customers. We didn't have it before, and only did it because
customers demanded we do it. And since it has been up we've received a
number of thankyous for it. So you'll have to live with it, it won't
be removed.
