On general principles I'd upgrade to 4MB when you get the chance. ComOS
isn't getting smaller, and no sense waiting until the last minute. (Or
you can't find 30 pin SIMMs anymore...)
More technically - look at recent release notes. They have a table of
recommended RAM installed size.
And if you see your unit getting below 50K of available RAM - upgrade.
