Once upon a time Patric Sandelin shaped the electrons to say...
>I connected C0 to a serial port on my box and....
>host> tip hardwire
>connected
>
>
>PortMaster Console login: test
>Password:
>PPP session from (172.16.1.6) to 172.16.1.8 beginning....~}#@ and so on.

What's the problem. That is a PPP login, looks fine to me.

>these are the entrys in the users file
>
>putte Password = "test"
> Service-Type = Framed-User,
> Framed-Protocol = PPP,
> Framed-IP-Address = 255.255.255.254,
> Framed-Routing = None,
> Framed-Compression = Van-Jacobsen-TCP-IP,
> Framed-MTU = 1500

This is the only entry? There isn't one for the user 'test'?
