Currently, I serve a number of frame connected pops
via a cisco 2501 to pm2er-30's or Ascend 40xx's. I am planning to add
a new 4048 to one of pops that already has an pm2er-30.

POP(in small town-2) (PM2er-30..New 4048)--->Dialups
Routing Question : Assuming the 4048 and PM2er-30 are on the same wire in
the remote POP and using one PVC, should I treat the 4048 like a second
PM2e slave, or switch and let the 4048 do the routing and slave the
pm2er-30? At present, most of the routing is static with .224 netmasks.
The dial tone answer-rollover issues appear to be resolved.
Opinions please? Aside from the obvious, buy a pm3 :)
Thank you,
Tim Patterson
