Gah! That'll teach me to meddle with undocumented stuff -- how the hell
do you turn off 'mdp snoop m0 on'? I tried the obvious 'mdp snoop m0 off'
and I'm still getting messages that I believe are from this command:
(S17) PPP recv: BAD CRC - mdp M25
Doh! Make it stop! *8-)
