Recently we have been working with users on connection problems with our new
PM-3's. It seems that at time disabling v.42bis compression helps. My
question is, when is this a good idea, and when can it cause problems? We
have stac cards in all of the PM-3's, along with 5 of the 10-modem cards in
each machine. We get our feed on USWest UAS CT-1's, B8ZS, ESF, Wink start,
Send Zero.
I am assuming that the OS plays a part here.
Any thoughts will be appreciated!
