(PM) Dead Air

I am posting this because I have seen some posts that others were having
problems with cuatomers connecting to PM3s and getting nothing but dead air.
We also have had this problem and have found our answer!
It might seem stupid of us ( Blush ) but I decided to post this so
others might not do the same.
As you know PM3s are very nice and simple to install and setup. We just
figured that they are smarter and when we set up our site we thought that
the last CT-1 that we activated with all 24 channells turned up would be ok,
even though we only had one 8 modem card in the slot.
We were Wrong! the other open (turned up ) channels were causing Dead
Air.
We found that our channelize trunk hunt sequence flows in a maner that
searches through all channels before selecting open channels upline.
We had them busy out the unused channels and all is fine sofar.
My partner (SysAdmid) didnt want this overlook to be known, but I figured
that this might help others that might overlook sometime the obvious as we
did. :)
