Yes, there are different ways to do an SLC.

I forget the proper terminology. But you have 96 lines. This can be
done with 5 T1s - 4 x 24 for 96, and one backup. If both ends are trunk
side this is a clear digital path.

Or you can do it with 3 T1s - 2 to carry the load and one backup. But
isn't 2 x 24 only 48? Yes - so they MUX the calls. That is very likely
to stop PCM from working.

And if they use a lineside connection anywhere that will also kill PCM.
