3.7L was supposed to support STAC on the OR-HS on the sync port, but
didn't, because of some obscure build issue.
Has this been fixed in 3.7.2L? It doesn't seem to function any
different from 3.7L: you turn STAC on (set w1 compress stac), and reset
the port, and STAC does not get negotiated.
