8) I think you are confusing K56Flex with 56K technology. Both K56Flex
and X2 are 56K technology.

Now there is no ITU standard set yet... and hopefully by 1998 there will
be one. That may be in jeapardy if the questions about patents go into
litigation, but that's another story...
