I didn't mean to imply that you should split the pairs up :-) I think
both Ethernet and T1 pair things properly it's just that the pairs are not
next to each other on the connector. The 1st pair is usually pins (1,2) the
second pair (3,6) the third pair (4,5) and the fourth pair (7,8) on the
RJ45. Not sure why they did that in the first place but I suppose we have
beat this subject about to death now.
