One of my good friends is on that committee and he says it will probably
be much more flex than ITU.

But it would be LITTLE from the hints Im getting.

Why are we all worried about it anyway? Whatever the standard becomes, all
the mfgr's swear to conform to, and flash upgrading modems isnt all that
bad anymore. Well, maybe I shouldt say that as I have flashed probably
2500 modems over the past 2 years.
