Enough ISP's read this to probably get an answer:

Got 20 POPs using over 40 PM2E-30's. Most sites have Microcom ISPorte 33.6
modems,
some have still have Zoom 28.8's and 33.6's/Supra 28.8's and 33.6's/etc.

Having a rash of complaints from folks who have purchased Micron PC's with
an OEM
X2 modem in them.

They can't connect to POPs with Microcom ISPorte's but _can_ connect to the
Zoom's or Supra's.
Every time. Without fail.

Regular USR X2's can connect to all sites, no problem.

The users (and us) have contacted Micron; Micron gave the users an init string
that was provided by USR.

Still doesn't work.

Anybody had users w/Micron OEM X2's get connected? Don't really want to
lose the accts.

TIA.
