I have a customer who's using an Acer 56K modem who connects most of the
time at 28.8K instead of 40-42K that most of the people who use the Acer
56K modem connect into us. This customer is the only one who's dropping
from the 40-42K range into the 28.8K range. He's had the telephone
company replace his telephone lines, so he's positive that it's not the
phone company. Any help that you can give me is greatly appreciated.
