I believe that Marty Likier posted something about this before, but I can't find his message.

We've got several PM3s all setup in a single roll queue that is not circular, and we're running ComOS 3.7. We would prefer to stack our modem cards towards the end of the queue, thus minimizing the number of modem cards that we need as most of our callers are ISDN. I believe that the PM3 is supposed to send some kind of signal back to the phone switch to have it roll the call on down the line when a certain box is out of modems, however, in our testing it does not seem to work.

We're connected to a Nortel DMS-500 (the 100 side, specifically) and are not using NI-2, but DMS custom. We have spoken with our telco (they are *very* cooperative) and had them place an D-Channel analyzer on one PRI while we simulated a full modem queue, and when they should be receiving a message that the voice trunk group is full, they are getting a "Release Complete", and the switch is generating a busy signal. The PM3 reports that it is sending the signal "Sending Refuse Call - No Modems (BXX)", but they never see anything other than the "Release Complete" message.

I think that it is supposed to be sending out a Cause Code 17 or something like that...

Anyone dare to help?
