I have similar problems (using an Ascend even). SWBell blames it on my
equipment and says that the unit is not releasing the B channels or
soemthing. THis is bogus. I can see open channels and I call our pop # and
get a busy and sometimes reorder. It always works from OUR co, but when I
go home, 15 miles away, I get the busies. Hopefully all will be well in
Oct when my local CO is switching to a NEW 5ess switch with Lucent
hardware. Its not a MAJOR problem right now as you call back in and
usually get a modem after 30 secs or so.
