Here is some more fuel for that claim....
We have a PM3 at a remote pop, we have an adtran tsu at our end hooked up
to a cisco router. We could not keep the link up between us and the remote
PM3 for anymore than 12 hours, usually about 2 hrs. That is until we
set the Network/Clock Source on the Adtran to Network. Then everything was
just fine. One other thing, BellSouth does not supply us timing on T1s.
