Overall the new modems are lightyears ahead of the old ones. Connect
rates are up, successes are up, and disconnects are down.

I can. There are way too many mixes of HW and SW on the sportsters ALONE
to test them ALL. You can't even get most of them these days.
It is impossible to test any software under every possibly combination.
Anyone with ANY development experience will tell you that. You test a
broad spectrum, which we did, and that's all you can do. It works for
others with USR Couriers and Sportsters.
