I am from Brazil and here I have a great init string, that works in almost
modem. It's AT&F (factory defaults) :)
My doubt is:
Why you american have so much problems with modems connection ? I know
friends who never experimented a 33.6 connection. It is because the telco
"panacea" ?
Is this the price of the competition between telcos ?
Here in Brazil whe don't have much problems, we can connect at 33.6
easily. The difference is that our telcos are govern companies (or are in
much minor quantities then in USA)
Is this the difference ? (many companies -> dificulties to connect them )
