Both livingston and Lucent code supports european 1200 bps V22 but not the
american 1200 bps Bell 212. Coz 2400 bps V22" just uses V22 as fallback,
every modem supporting V22" also supports V22.

The difference between V22 and Bell 212 is marginal so most Bell 212
modems should connect V22. At least with a minor configuration change.

300 bps V21 is used for fax connections and is therefore often supported
in todays modem, even 56K one. But very few acessservers still supports 300
bps Bell 203 or V21.

My recommendation is to use a simple modem on the consoleport for the low
speed support.
