Seems that ISDN lines all act a little strange. I received some
interesting info from one of our Ameritech ISDN guys. We are run off of a
DMS-100 switch. I had shut off my PM2eI and OR for a couple days (hadn't
quite configured them yet). When I went to reconfigure and test them, my
incoming ISDN's showed a busy. Double checked and they were all busied
out. Called Ameritech.

They "reset" the lines and the Ameritech guy told me that if the DMS-100
doesn't sense a NT-1 on the other end for "a while", it puts the ISDN line
into a busy state thinking that something is screwed up with the cable pair
since it doesn't sense anything on the other end. Even with no usage, the
DMS will sense the circuit is good since there is a NT on the other end.
Go figure. Now, I just leave all my ISDN connected to a box with a NT1,
even if I'm not using them, and all is fine. Don't ask me.....
