Thanks, MZ, but they're paying for 64k and that's all I'm willing to
"give" them. At least for now. What kind of performance hit does
apparently-software-based STAC involve in an OR, just as a matter of
interest.

Ok, thanks. I'll try upgrading them (and turning off STAC *8-) and see if
it makes any difference!
