How to configure PM3 and NT4.0 RAS Service to connect in either direction

I'm configuring a Livingston Portmaster 3 with 2x10 Modems for
connecting NT4.0 Workstations with either Modems or ISDN. The connection
must be provided in both directions. If possible CHAP should be used.
The direction NT dialing to the Portmaster was no problem. But with
the reverse case I could not find any clue to solve the problems of
authenticating to NT RAS Service .
How must the location be configured to get access to the NT box?
What settings need to be done on the NT machine?
