I have an IBM Multimedia Modem+ (MWave DSP 2780) in my PC at home. I
have never had a problem dialing into our PM3 (old AD cards) when I
bother. I usually don't since it's long distance from home, but when
I do, I always get connected first try at a fairly reasonable (for long
distance) 26.4KBps. I have seen a lot of people complaining about MWave,
but have never seen what the fuss was. Mine works just fine (using the
newest 33.6 drivers) with the default ATZ2 init string.
