Well guys, I'm getting a little frustrated trying to keep up with
all the posts on which modems currently support K56Flex 1.0 and
which ones don't, and of the ones that don't, which ones are
upgradeable and which ones aren't. So, I'm putting up a set of
pages at http://www.caveland.net/pm3 which will deal with getting
specific client modems connected to the Livingston PM-3 equipment.
The pages will cover all modems (not just 56K modems). Obviously,
there is not a whole lot of information there now, but I will be
culling information as it comes across the inet-access and
portmaster-users lists. Also, there are links at the bottom of
every page where you can send any info you have on a specific modem
that is either a) not listed, or b) needs to be updated.

I really don't want to duplicate the work someone else is doing,
so if this is already being done, please let me know. However, in
my search I've found lots of "init string" sites, but none
specifically relating to the PM-3. I though this was especially
needed since the K56Flex cards are out and people are looking for
client modems that have (or can be upgraded to) to K56Flex 1.0.

Let me know if these pages will help,
Eric
