I would be 100% against such a deal. Things like this *invariably* end
up sucking in the end. At some point down the road some DoS bug will show
up in old revs, you'd need to upgrade, and the old cards wouldn't work, etc.

It just isn't worth it. Even at full retail price I wouldn't like the idea.
