I would like to receive a bit of [assistance] with a portmasster (Livingstone)!
I have a new Livingston's portmaster...
I'm configuring it...
but until now, I can not connect to it by MODEM!
scenario:
Portmaster 2e
s1 port configuration:
Command> sh s1
----------------------- Current Status - Port S1
---------------------------
Status: IDLE
Input: 0 Parity Errors: 0
Output: 0 Framing Errors: 0
Pending: 0 Overrun Errors: 0
Modem Status: DCD- CTS+
Active Configuration Default Configuration
-------------------- ---------------------
Port Type: Netwrk Netwrk (Dial In) (Security)
Baud Rates: 115200 115200,115200,115200

Mtu: 0 1500
Async Map: L:00000000 R:00000000 00000000

In ther other hand:
I have another portmaster up and running...
and the differente port status is:
portmaster not configured completely yet:
Interface: Unassigned (PPP,Listen) (PPP,Quiet)
portmaster configured completely ok:
Interface: ptp1 (PPP,Routing) (PPP,Routing)
I have connected my portmaster directly to my serial port (of my computer)
and a Motorola modem directly to the port s1!
trying to add the Interface 'ptp1' show me:
GOOD PORTMASTER:
Command> ifconfig
