This still doesnt account for the approximately 4 million early k56 modems
which were sold by companies with no V1.0 upgrade in site (I have no idea
how many were Hayes), nor does it put product on the shelves at every
CompUSA and Computer City.

It *IS* a good beginning, but lets not forget we're dealing with people
who have to ask what to put in a field that says "Your Name".....I mean we
need easy, plug-n-pray solutions, I just hope they start showing up
soon....

I'm going over to CompUSA this afternoon to check the shelves and
see if I can find just *ONE* 56k modem to connect to our PM3. We've had
the cards now for about 6 days, we have had 5 customers with 56K modems
try to connect, but not a single connection higher than 33.6 due to the
need for V1.0....
