After doing some research, head knocking and browbeating we have found a
vendor who claims nt5.05 (NT Enterprise) will support unix passwords.
Allegedly, Microsoft is wanting to drag us unix geeks into the nt world.
However, there is one catch... Enterprise is supposed to use the crypt(3)
posix standard. It is supposed to be released in 1st quarter of 98.
I have not been to Microsoft's web site to check this out yet. If anyone
can confirm this please drop a note.
