If you remove and reinstall, the cache may not have flushed. Try removing
dial up adapter and DUN and do a full shutdown. Then power up
and reinstall.

If that doesn't work, something very close to a full reinstall of win95
is to go to control panel->system->Device Manager->System Devicesand
remove "Plug'n'Play bios" driver. On reboot, it'll treat the system as
"new". But be warned: you'll need the win95 CD for this.
