I am having a problem with our first PM3. There is probably
a setting off somewhere.
We have Pac Bell PRI,
features: ESF , B8ZS , AT&T #5 ESS ,
(And from the Pac Bell guy's faxed notes " Need timing (clocking)
from T-1 CKT - not from internal source".
And the note says - Set for "CUSTOM"
Err, where do I set that????
I think that is what the problem is..
ComOS version 3.7 as of last nite. 48 modems, the new ones.
When I plug the PRI into line0, and then turn the PM3 on there is
a red led by the first port (line0), then a second of red and green, then
the red led is on solid. The manual says the PM3 doesn't understand
the service from Pac Bell, Appendix A, led diagnostics.
I have (mis)set the second port (port1) to be a T-1. It shows up as W24.
Anyone want to show me my error?
