FW: Hayes 56K (Again)

Go get yourself to a store. Pick up the Hayes Accura modem with the red & black
box. ON he back side, the third black column. The very last bullet states:

"Free flash upgrade to the ITU 56K Standard when ratified"

What I don't understand is that Hayes tells me that this thing can not be
flashed to 1.0, but it can be flashed to .519. They tell me that this version
is not even flash upgradable which doesn't make sense because I can upgrade to
.519.

I'm confused.
