Today I upgraded our pm3 (6 x 10 port modem cards, 2 x E1 PRI, 4 meg ram)
to Comos 3.7.
Once it had reset everything seemed fine. A few hours later however it
rebooted for no apparant reason.
A few hours later again, when one called it there was just silence. The
modems did not make a noise, difficult to tell if it had answered the call.
Sadly I was not near a PC at the time. One of our guys did a show modem and
it seemed fine. So I had them power-cycle the box.
Now again it was reported to me that it was silent when dialing the number.
I telneted in, but it had rebooted 1 minute before.
So now the question is what is causing this. Is it perhaps that 4 meg is
not enough? The release notes seemed to indicate 4 meg would be enough,
though it seemed a little unclear. Right now with 27 users on there is
581076 bytes free.
Any ideas?
Think I will pop in some extra ram anyhow and see if it makes a difference.

Anthony
