Oh, THAT shit.
The test was done with a line simulator, not a switch, and there was
an incompatibility with it and the PM-3. A problem, I might add, that
does NOT exist with the real switch - just their simulator.
Instead of declaring the results bogus, as they are, the bastards decided
to print the report anyway.
As you can see the PM-3 performs as well as, or better than, the TC
up until the clash caused additional connections to fail. In out tests
that trend continues right up to the limit.
There was a lot of talk about this test when it first came out, you
should be able to find it in the archives.
