There has been a recent thread on setting baud rates. I have USR
Sportsters (33.6's) and a PM2e-30. The modems refuse to respond. I do an
attach, it says I'm connected to the port, then I type "at" and press
ENTER. Nothing happens.
I'm thinking it may be the speed. The speed is set to 115200. I'm
guessing it should be lower. Someone told me to disconnect the modems
from the Portmaster, connect them to a computer, and fiddle around with
the modem speed. But I am not at the office, monitor remotely, and find
it hard to believe I can't do this at the PM command line.
