Shutdown

All this chat about shutting down un-used interfaces reminds me of a
question I've been meaning to ask.

Is there a *graceful* way of taking down a PM3? Just hitting "reboot"
takes out the logged in users (and we rarely have less than a dozen
these days on the busiest box). Is there some sort of "suspend
logins" we can effect, other than by killing RadiusD or similar?
(that'd suspend logins to *all* the boxes!) so we can "idle" the box
before killing it?
