Interesting... Just got off the phone this morning, with a local
Livingston rep. He said 56K modems were being held up due to
incompatibilities with USR modems. Said problem was Lucent who is holding
up shipments. Anyone gotten the new modems yet? If there is a hold-up, I
would expect a courtesy email and/or other type announcement that the
shipments will be delayed. Actually on Livingston's web page they have
the announcement that the Lucent modem cards are available as of 7/30/97.

Hmmm... What is the story there? Looking at this list, I have seen
several msgs wondering where the modems are, and not one answer from
Livingston as to what is going on.
