Thanks, Jake! Actually that plane was a huge cargo plane (An MD11 which is
second largest cargo plane in the world as I understand it.) with a crew of
two with three passengers. It was carrying international freight from the
Pacific-Asiain rim. It stopped in Anchorage, AK and was traveling to
Newark. Newark is one of their five US hubs. All of the contents (145,000
pounds of cargo) originated in Asia. The people on board escaped safely. I
really doubt that anything from LE was on that plane.
