I have found this NOT to be the case over the past year. If you call the
SBA office and tell them you want to talk about digital service, they will
connect you to a consultant who KNOWS all this stuff.

SWBT has had something called SELECT VIDEO for a long time. This is
$430/month measured business on outgoing only (with 5 year contract).
Now they have introduced Select Data which is essentially the same thing.
If you call and tell them you are an isp and want to get multiple digital
channels for people to dial in on, they WILL tell you about and sell you
Select Data (hopefully).
If you are in a small town or city and call them and they are not sure
what you are talking about, call the SWBT SPECIAL CIRCUITS office in
Dallas. They have an 800 #, altho I dont know it. Just ask your local
SWBT person. But the buzz word for now is "SELECT DATA".
