a good justification for bgp over dialup "might be" that a 128k isdn line
could be used for peering where you only announce you and your customers
routes at a nap to keep local or semi-regional isp traffic off your
backbone.

i prefer ethernet or ptp for this myself although i see potential for
doing it over a medium bandwidth link like bri or multi-bri links.

isp money saver it is... every lil bit counts. ;)
