Once upon a time David Davies shaped the electrons to say...
>OR-M being used on remote network to dial into a PM3.
>Primary modem, plus an external hanging off of S0 with the supplied cable.

Actually the supplied cable is a terminal cable - a crossover. You need
a straight-through. And I do not recommend putting ANOTHER crossover on
the end to switch back as some people do. Not nice.

A straight RJ-45 to RJ-45 cable, like an ether cable, and an RJ-45 to DB-25
plug on the end is good.

>I can set both of these modems up to dial on demand, and to dial when the
>need arises with bandwidth usage correct ?

Yes.

>That's it pretty simple huh...?

Pretty much.
