We use a livingston Portmaster 2 for that branch of our net.

The users can get to the network, but their transfer times are slow, and
the first hop on the traceroute is missing. I read that that is because of
the strange Microsoft traceroute implementation, but this user was using a
different one(non-M$).
Is there something that could be wrong besides the Livingston-M$ conflict?
Any help/ideas would be appreciated.
