There's been some talk lately about bonding on the ISDN BRI card on the
PM2E. There's also been some chatting about using a hunt group for ISDN
like a modem pool. Both of which can be done.
Now, here's my question:
Can you combine the two? In other words, can the PM2E bond channels that
may not have come in on the same ISDN line. Here's a picture:
BRI Card:
Port a/b Port c/d Port e/f Port g/h Port i/j
Let's say that user Arnold dials in and gets a 56/64k connection on Port
a. Then, Betty dials in and gets a 56/64k connection on Port B.
Now, Arnold starts pulling down large binary files of questionable morals
and pushes up to 128k requiring 2 B channels. His router or terminal
adapter dials up to get the second B channel. His call is forwarded to
Port C. Can he get bonding?
Continuing, then, can Betty dial up Port d and get 128k throughput?
Thanks folks.
