You seem to be confusing interface load with CPU load. They are
separate items. Besides several Livingston products don't even have
enough CPU to saturate all interfaces simultaneously.

For example, a system that is getting 30 OSPF routing change a minute,
will load the CPU more than a system that is geting 1 routing change a
minute. But how much more? No one knows. How about filters? How much
extra load does a 10 rule filter cause? No one knows. How about BGG with
one view? How about with two views? No one knows.
