Actually, I experienced the same problem with pmconsole on Solaris.
The problem is that pmconsole is looking for the lib files in
/usr/lib. The files are actually in /usr/openwin/lib. Make a
symbolic link from /usr/lib to the corresponding file in
/usr/openwin/lib and the problem will be solved.

do you have multiple copies of ld.so.1 .... if there's one in
/usr/lib
that may be incompatible with the pm_3.5.3_sun4 ....
