Ok, here's what I did. I took a few 2 line by 20 character LCD modules
and connected them to the (p0) printer port on each livingston. I wrote
a small linux program to query the status of each portmaster and then
update the LCD display attached to the printer port.

This really impresses (sp?) the customers and visiting ISP's.
