I don't think our average ISDN customer (most are dedicated network
connections) would pay extra. I do know many would very much like to have
it. Some have gone as far as to ask if we would allow them to provide
gear (like a P50) for our side of their connection so they can get
compression. None have actually done it though.
I would say ISDN compression is definitely a differentiating feature.
Given several choices where price is similar, the average consumer is
likely to pick the one with compression.
Is this a poll to see if there's demand for BRI compression, or is STAC on
the PM3 no longer a certainty?
