It's not too many people who still have any 256K simms in existence,
i remember having a copy paper box half full of them pulled out of mac SEs
and pluses at the computing sites at umich when we upgraded them to 2.5
megs each.

we seriously thought of selling them as jewelry at the infamous ann arbor
art fair (mid july every year; unofficial motto: if it's ugly and expensive,
it must be art), but of course never got up the motivation. I think that
sort of thing would go over better nowadyas, geek chic that it is.

Now back to your regularly scheduled bitching (personally i'm pissed
because our LD carrier turned off the LD on my isdn lines, bringing
down my backup connection to my other site, but that's hardly the
portmaster's fault ;)
